Vulnerable post
2025 has been the hardest year of my life. I was doing all the things working full-time as an HR leader, completing my post-grad in executive coaching, and building two businesses. Then life shifted fast.
My dad got sick. I became a caregiver, constantly traveling, never really home. I lost my job. I lost my dad. Grief has been heavy, and just days ago my body forced me into urgent care.
This season has been slow, painful, and isolating. Ended up in urgent last Friday! But here’s the part I didn’t expect…
Building my Skool community for 🇨🇦Canadian women in business has given me purpose. We’re 14 women right now and honestly? It feels like I’m gaining about one member a day. I’m showing up on all the social platforms, sharing the vision, and trusting the process.
It’s not fast. It’s not viral. But it’s real. And in this season, real connection matters more than numbers. Every new woman feels like confirmation that I’m rebuilding something meaningful one conversation at a time.
I’m so grateful I found Skool when I needed community the most.
Have you ever built something slowly and had to remind yourself it still counts?
What’s helping you stay consistent when growth feels quiet?
