Decision Fatigue Doesn’t Always Look Like “I Can’t Decide”For entrepreneurs, decision fatigue can actually look a lot like 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆.
It might look like:
→ Changing your offer again instead of launching it.
→ Asking five more people what they think.
→ Researching one more tool before choosing.
→ Rewriting something that was already ready.
→ Jumping between tasks without finishing them.
→ Making lots of little decisions while avoiding the big one.
→ Suddenly wondering if you need to change your entire business direction.
When you’ve been making decisions all day, your capacity to make another clear one can drop.
And sometimes we interpret that as:
“𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜’𝗺 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴.”
When what we may actually need is a little space before making another decision.
One small thing to try:
Before changing the offer, rewriting the plan, or making a big decision, ask:
“𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄?”
If it doesn’t, write it down and choose a specific time to come back to it.
Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder. It comes from giving yourself enough capacity to think clearly again.
This is something we talk about a lot inside 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿—noticing the patterns underneath our business behaviours so we can make decisions from greater capacity and clarity, rather than pressure.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂?
