Good morning! We discussed in class that pricing your services appropriately, not only can help prevent burnout but also helps uphold an industry standard. As licensed massage therapists, we need to be valuing the service we provide to clients - We are offering time, energy, technique, knowledge, experience, compassion, and a therapeutic ambiance. I added a document to the Beyond the Basics course (under the classroom tab) that dives into how to price your services and what the averages are, both nationally and locally for North Idaho and Eastern Washington. How much do you charge? How do you feel about this rate?

Don’t say 👉🏼 “Treats neuropathy” Instead say 👉🏼 “Supports clients experiencing neuropathy symptoms” --- “Bad Niche → Good Niche” Exercise Keep in mind specific wording: Instead of “I do deep tissue massage” → “I help construction workers recover from chronic shoulder pain” Instead of “I do relaxation massage” → “I help burned-out moms reset their nervous system and finally relax” How would you rephrase "I work on carpal tunnel"?
