Well, I bought this here new bow yesterday. Its a samuel eastman BL50. Just a tiny step up perhaps from the bow which came with my student rental violin (which I have since bought of course. I like it, it really handles well. Total impulse buy but one that I am happy with.

I am still renting my violin, which I hope to purchase this February. I bought a carbon fiber bow from Terre Nova, and am very happy with it. I would like to purchase a mute for when I practice early in the morning.
