Let's talk about tenacity 💪
I want to share something personal today.
When I started college, I was pre-med, working, dating, and trying to keep up with a full course load. I wasn't failing, but I definitely wasn't excelling either. I was just... surviving. And honestly? That feels almost worse than failing, because you're stuck in the middle wondering if you're even cut out for this.
So what did I do? I changed my major. Then I changed it again. Then a third time. 😅
Every time, I felt like I was starting over. Like everyone else had it figured out and I was the one wandering around lost.
Then life kept happening. I got married. I worked full time (plus some). I had three kids. There were so many moments I could have said, "Okay, that's it, this just isn't for me."
But I didn't. I kept showing up. Some semesters I was barely hanging on. Some days I was exhausted, behind, and questioning everything. I just kept trying again. And I graduated with my bachelor's magna cum laude.
Here's what I want you to take from this: the path doesn't have to be pretty for you to get there. Changing direction isn't quitting. Going slow isn't failing. Being tired doesn't mean you should stop. Tenacity isn't about being the smartest or having the perfect plan. It's about not letting "this is hard" turn into "I'm done."
So if you're in the messy middle right now, wondering if it's worth it, keep going. Try again. Then try again after that.
You've got this. 🙌
What's something you almost gave up on but kept going? Drop it below, I'd love to cheer you on! 👇
