A few years ago, I started a YouTube channel on a niche I knew nothing about just to prove the strategy worked. No big following. No existing audience. Just a clear search-first content plan and a community to send people to.
It monetised in four weeks.
I tell people this not to impress them but because most creators I talk to are waiting waiting to hit 1,000 subscribers, waiting to feel ready, waiting for the algorithm to notice them. The waiting is the problem.
I run a free Skool community called The Content Revenue Lab. We help professionals use YouTube to grow a community and turn their expertise into income. Just crossed 800 members. Free to join if it sounds relevant to what you're building.
