Alright Digi Fam… let’s spring forward and tap in with the fellas for today’s commercial breakdown!
Inside the Storytelling Week classroom I'll upload the commercial break down for the mock FreshRoot shampoo commercial built using the 3-Shot Commercial Formula:
📽 Hook → Product → Payoff →
So you can see exactly how the commercial came together.
But today we’re adding two important layers that help elevate the commercial:
📽 B-Roll
B-roll are the supporting visuals that bring atmosphere and detail to the story!
In the FreshRoot commercial I added things like:
• Water droplets and spring leaves
• Close-ups of the product texture
• Ingredient visuals to reinforce freshness
These shots don’t replace the structure. They enhance it!
.....And last but least Creator Reveal End Card! Which I think came out fiyah!! 🔥🔥
That final moment where the brand locks in and the viewer sees who created the commercial.
This is where a piece starts to feel like a real campaign, not just a clip!
I’ll be adding the scene prompts used to generate the visuals, so you can study the workflow and recreate the process yourself.
Structure first.
Then B-roll.
Then lock in the brand.
Take a look inside the Storytelling Week module and study the coffee "Digi Dollz Roasters" breakdown (Day 2)
Once you understand this formula, you can create commercials for any product or brand!!!
