Trying to break the Algorithm with this one.
What’s up everyone. I wanted to share a recent workflow pivot that turned a massive algorithm roadblock into a pure creative flex. I’ve been incredibly frustrated with the standard algorithm pushing out basic, repetitive content. To counter that, I decided to stay strictly within my 90s R&B niche and build something surreal: an inter-species dining late-night slow jam featuring a cat named Mizz Pretty. Of course, the moment I tried to test it on IG, the Content ID bots instantly muted the track for having too authentic of a 90s sound. Instead of fighting the bots, I channeled that frustrated energy straight back into the art to build out the world even further. I generated professional character and prop reference sheets to lock in my visual consistency across the entire video. I’ve attached the final video cut, plus the exact reference sheets for Mizz Pretty and the Cat Cereal box. For the creators in here pushing AI video tools, here are the exact prompts I used to lock in the "Chill Zone Studio" aesthetic for my reference sheets. Feel free to test them out: Mizz Pretty Reference Sheet Prompt: Positive: A professional pre-production character design reference sheet featuring "Mizz Pretty," a pure white fluffy cat wearing dark 90s sunglasses and a pink flower collar. The layout includes three distinct angles of the cat: front-facing, side profile, and 3/4 view. The cats are sitting on a polished black table. The background is locked in as the dark Chill Zone Studio, featuring moody green and yellow neon spotlighting, deep shadows, and atmospheric fog. The sheet includes subtle technical design lines and retro typography reading "MIZZ PRETTY" and "CHILL ZONE EXCLUSIVE". Authentic 1996 R&B music video aesthetic, high-contrast, rich VHS film grain. Negative: daylight, flat lighting, white background, digital noise, human hands, extra limbs, dogs, cartoon, 3d render, bright, cheerful, removing sunglasses, dropping collar, changing environment, modern minimalist text, messy layout.
