Building a new cinematic universe for Black History Month 📼🩸
Hey everyone, I wanted to share a new project I just launched called the Chill Zone Archives.
For Black History Month, instead of just looking back at the well-known history books, I wanted to use AI and video production to shine a light on the forgotten figures—the ones whose power and influence were intentionally buried.
I created a short-form "found footage" universe, starting with Auntie Agnes, a 19th-century plantation midwife who was actually a powerful rootworker. The records scrubbed her protectors from history, so I built a cinematic lore drop to bring her back to life.
I’m using this new page to build up the lore for a larger short film project I'm developing. I’d love for you all to check out the first video, let me know what you think of the vintage 1800s aesthetic, and drop a follow if you're into dark history and world-building.
