🔬 Research 101: what does 'lyophilized' mean?
Ever wonder why research peptides show up as a little puck of powder instead of a liquid? 🤔 That's because they're lyophilized. ❄️ Lyophilized = freeze-dried. The material is frozen, then the water is pulled out under a vacuum, leaving a dry powder behind. 🧱 Why it matters: with the water gone, the powder is much more stable. It holds up better over time and during shipping than a liquid would, which is why vials arrive as powder. 🧊 Stability still depends on storage. Heat, light and moisture are the enemies.
