What's one good piece of writing advice that's stuck with you?
For me, it has to be "embrace the crappy first draft".
Instead of stopping to fiddle with my sentences, when I'm writing the first draft, I keep pushing forward to get the story out first. Then I go back and revise. It's a waste of time to polish the first chapter to perfection if it ends up being cut in revisions!
What about you?
