Hey girlies! What happened last week? Comment below and let me know what day this week works best for everyone so we can reschedule our Black Friday community workshop. In other news…I just got back from the Black Spa Expo in Miami! And Miami doesn’t owe me a thing, okay! It was fun but I also walked away with some amazing gems, some new connections, and renewed motivation to get to this bag!! 3 Things I Walked Away With: 1. Mind the business that pays YOU! Focus on your specific goals and vision for your business. Don’t let the social media trends or what you see on social media dictate your success or who you are. Your business stands out when you remember you’re in a lane of your own and there is no competition except for the person in the mirror! 2. Stop being scared to be visible. You want to make more money but you aren’t showing up so more people can see what you have to offer. Post the content! Go to the networking events! Without visibility, you’re just like a Louis Vuitton store in the middle of the desert. You have an amazing product but nobody can see you! 3. You can’t do it alone. I talked to so many black women spa professionals who are making $20 million dollars and more a year and they all mentioned the fact that they have a team to help them stay successful. There’s only so much you can do as a one-woman show and building a team of people who have other strengths and talents that add to yours will not only help you focus on what you need to in your business but it will also accelerate your growth I always learn something new when I get in the room with people who are more successful than me and I encourage y’all to do the same!
