We are getting ready for 2026 Summits!
Hello to our members and welcome to new members! Do any painting over the summer? We would love to see them! Its has been a whirlwind of fun on our end as our artists prepare for our annual watercolor summits for Fall and Winter! I know.. I know.. if you are like me (Divinity, artist) wanting to hold on to summer a bit longer I don't blame you. If you haven't been painting for a while we will have some fun projects that will inspire you to pick up the brush. And if you have been painting then come join us and learn something new! We would love to have you. Enjoy August!

So I did a thing…
one of the fun things about being an artist is going to workshops and playing. Today a local art store near me hosted a Daniel Smith watercolor workshop where the brand ambassador talked about how they make their special paints using semi precious minerals into watercolors. Did you know they have 17 years worth of minerals and tubes in storage. Crazy! We got to play with a few mineral paints and their stick. The stick is the same as the tubes and pans. Apparently the stick is cheaper and does well for those who travel especially on air planes. Have you painted with Daniel Smiths paints?
