The secret to vocal bends..
Is realizing it’s not about "stepping" sharply from note to note. It’s actually just a very gentle, fluid slide.. Think of it like a smooth, warm smear of sound rather than taking a rigid staircase. It takes a little patience to build up that muscle memory, but it’s so worth it. Vocal bends add this lovely layer of emotion and texture to a song without taking over the whole melody. Once you start listening for them, you’ll realize they are hidden everywhere, from the gorgeous, powerhouse tracks of Celine Dion to country music. It takes a little time to get it to feel effortless, but please be gentle with yourself while you practice. You’ll get there!
