After years of teaching and examining I have found that if students can be drilled into recalling "The Formula" they stand a better chance of attaining high scores! Obviously there is more to it than just recall and the video will go into more detail. We will use this formula and apply it to all poems and then use it to help us compare and contrast themes shared by the poems. At some point, there will be a bonus option on how you can apply this to the unseen poetry question too.
