MAY CHALLENGERS — this one’s for you! We are SO excited to have you here in Tennis Den and officially welcome you to the Play Tennis Challenge. Get ready to level up your game, your content, and your community all at once.
Here’s everything you need to know to hit the ground running:
🎯THE CHALLENGE — Here’s How It Works:
Each week you will:
- Play tennis — get out on the court and put in the work!
- Film yourself playing — capture your strokes, your matches, your progress. It doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to be real.
- Post to Instagram Reels — upload your footage as a Reel and tag @CityRacquetShop in your post so we can find it, share it, and cheer you on.
- Post to Tennis Den (right here!) — each week, we want to hear from you! Tell us your challenges, ask questions, let us know where you’re playing, cheer each other on!
đź“‹A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
- Reels only — no Stories for your weekly submissions. Reels are discoverable, trackable, and they stick around so you can look back at your progress over time.
- Tag @CityRacquetShop on every post — this is how we track participation and feature top content!
- Advanced players (USTA 3.5+): you’re on a 2x/week schedule — 2 Reels + 1 Skool post. You know who you are!
đź“–NOT SURE HOW TO FILM OR POST?
No stress — that’s what the Media Guide is for! Refer to it anytime to make sure you’re filming at the right angles, editing correctly, and posting in the right format.
💬WE’RE HERE FOR YOU — HERE’S HOW TO GET SUPPORT:
- Weekly Live Q&As — Thursdays at 6:30 PM 🎙️Bring your questions, your clips, your confusion — we’ll work through it all together live. These calls are gold, don’t sleep on them!
- Friday Check-Ins 📝Every Friday we’re going to post a community check-in. This is your space to share wins, breakthroughs, and yes — questions are welcome too! But we especially love hearing about the wins, no matter how small. Did you finally nail that backhand? Tell us. We want to celebrate with you.
We are rooting for every single one of you. This community is what makes the challenge worth doing — so show up, engage, and don’t be afraid to be a beginner on camera. That’s where the magic happens.🎾
Let’s get it, May Cohort! Drop a 👋 in the comments and introduce yourself!
