You made it! I'm so glad you're here. This space was created for teachers who just want to feel human again and who want a place where their experience is understood without needing to be explained. Inside The Teacher Collective, you'll explore real, often unseen parts of teaching-- the emotional load, the expectations, the invisible work, the constant shifting-- and you'll have room to reconnect with clarity, purpose, and your own humanity. Consider this a space to slow down, breathe, and remember that you're more than your job. Before you get cozy, here's how to get started: 1. Read the Welcome Guide This gives you a sense of what the community is about, how it works, and what you can expect as you settle in. 2. Introduce Yourself! Share what feels right-- your grade level, your story, or simply why you're here. You are by no means required to be "on"-- just be authentically YOU. Please don't share super identifiable details (i.e. where you live, or work) this IS an online community, and I want to keep you safe. 3. Explore the First Module Start with the foundational pieces. These will help you understand the deeper patterns behind teacher overwhelm and give you language the language for what you've been carrying. 4. Join a conversation! Respond to a post, ask a question, or reflect on something that resonates. The community grows through shared experience, not perfection. 5. Take your time. There is no rush, no grading deadline, no admin breathing down your neck about data... Move at a pace that feels good to YOU. Repeat the courses, if you need to. This space is meant to support your energy, not drain it. A final note You do NOT have to hold everything alone. You do NOT have to pretend you're fine. You do NOT have to keep pushing past your limits for people who keep taking and not giving back. Here? You're a person, a human, my bestie-- not just a teacher. You belong here.
