'Rest'-ful or not? 🤔
First, how was the holiday season for you? Was it full of activities or was it restful? I hope it was everything you wanted it to be. 💖 For the first time since my son was born, we spent Christmas time (up until the past weekend) hosting. It was just one family member, mind you - my cousin. But it kept us busy and we ended up spending much more money than we intended. That's because it was her first Christmas in the UK (she's from Guadeloupe), and she wanted to make the most of it! So we tried to deliver - she was entertained, she discovered nice places and tried new food. We had laughter, my son loved having family member over. It was great fun! Truth is it was a time to remember, yet much more work and more tiring that I thought it would be. It was wonderful, yet in the middle of all the festivities, one thing remained on my priority list: REST. And by "rest", I don't mean just being cosy at home chatting whilst drinking camomille tea... In fact, my cousin doesn't like tea at all. Lol I don't mean chilling and watching a nice movie - though we did a lot of that! I mean REST = SLEEP. And sleeping as long as my body needs it. In between all the enjoyment, going to Winter Wonderland, fancy places and being immersed back in my French Caribbean roots through doing lots of cooking, I was intent on listening to my body. And I am feeling soooo good for it! Though I had intended to be active on Skool, that "rest" was welcomed and much needed. And I feel like I am starting this new year with my mind ready to get more clarity on the direction of the community. My hope is that in the coming weeks and months, you will find in here what you were looking for. If I can help you with anything in the meantime, feel free to DM me or respond in the comments. You can always re-visit the Tea Break Reset Kit. I wish you an amazing 2026, full of calm, physical energy and purpose! 🫶

One-line introductions
Hey lovely members! ☕️💛 Let’s start things off gently. If you’re new here, please share a one-line introduction below. Something like: “I’m [Name], mama of [age], and today I’m craving more [rest / clarity / ease / laughter].” No stories needed… just a so hello. 👋 I'll go first. My name is Carole, a 47 year-old mama, and today I’m craving more connection with other moms like me :)

Welcome to The Tea Break Sisterhood!
Merry Christmas (to all who celebrate) ✨️
In this season where many things come to a close and new things get started, I want to take the time to wish you a Merry Christmas. And if you don't celebrate, I hope this is a time for you to rest, recalibrate, recharge. As I host a family member during this holiday season, I am intentional in ensuring that I prioritise quality time with my family, in counting my blessings, as well as in taking a well-deserved break from working at all. Because I believe more than ever that a break important - no matter what others may say! In the busyness of life and as we are aging, getting our mind and body to rest is no luxury. It's a necessity. So, from all my heart dear mamas, may this Christmas remind you that you are worthy of love, you are worthy of self care, and worthy of support (however it looks like for you). Much love & blessings, Carole 💛☕️

Happy Sunday and Little Joys 🤗
Hello mamas, I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday before the Christmas week. It's always a good time to remind yourself of something nice that happened this week. It helps feeling grateful even when things are hard. My 5 year old son randomly said to me this week: "you are my best friend". So cute! 🥰 Whether he knows the true meaning of friendship, it was his way to be appreciative of me. And when life feels challenging, I hold on to these little joys! I hope you have these little wins or cute moments to remind yourself that we can find light in the midst of it all. Feel free to share with us some joys you've had recently. ✨️ Wishing you a bright day ☀️💛
