Review: Kissed by Mii – Seriously Smoothing Exfoliating Wipes
When you work in tanning, you learn that the small things make the biggest difference to the final result. Exfoliating wipes are one of those often-overlooked tools that can completely change how evenly a tan develops especially when clients arrive with stubborn product build-up or patchy areas they simply can’t reach.
Recently I tested the Kissed by Mii Seriously Smoothing Exfoliating Wipes.

but the first order must be £200, which isn’t ideal if you’re just testing a product.

I paid £5 per pack of 25 wipes, making them very cost-effective compared to many other brands.

Kissed by Mii wipes, on the other hand:
Cost £5 for a pack of 25, meaning you pay 20p per wipe Each wipe is smaller, so one is not enough for a full-body exfoliation (£3 trade price)
However, they’re excellent for targeted smaller areas.
👍If your goal is to increase profit and charge extra for a premium add-on, go for Norvell. But if you want something you can blend seamlessly into the price of your service without increasing the cost, Mii is the better option.

👉How to Use
Use the textured side to exfoliate targeted areas of the body.
Avoid the face, they’re too rough for delicate skin.
Focus on knees, elbows, feet, hands, triceps, sides of the back - places clients often miss.
Flip to the smooth side to remove residue and soften the skin.
Allow the skin to dry before applying your pre-tan pH mist or moisturiser, then complete the spray tan as normal.
They can also be used a few days after tanning to help the colour fade more evenly. - good for resale for clinets.
What I think:
👌👌👌 From the moment I opened the packet, I noticed the wipes are lightly moist, not soaking, but just enough for controlled exfoliation. One side is very textured, and you definitely feel the roughness on the skin, while the other side is soft enough for smoothing the area afterwards.
To properly test how effective they are, I used them on my own 12-day-old tan on my legs. At that stage, the tan was already breaking down and uneven, the perfect condition for putting a product like this to the test. The rough side genuinely helped to lift older patches and the smooth side removed the residue without irritating the skin. For a quick fix, they worked surprisingly well.
Are they suitable for full-body exfoliation?
No. One wipe is not enough to exfoliate the entire body. They’re too small in my opinion.
They’re a fantastic add-on during appointments, especially when clients arrive with:leftover tan on their triceps, patchy areas on their sides or back, uneven product from self-tan mousses
For these situations, the wipes truly help. The textured side gives enough grip to remove stubborn build-up, and for only 20p per wipe, they’re easy to incorporate into a service without increasing the price like Norvell wipes would.
They’re cost-effective, convenient, and practical.
Useful tool that can save an appointment when a client arrives less prepared than expected.
✅️Final Thoughts
The Kissed by Mii exfoliating wipes won’t replace a proper full-body exfoliation, but they are excellent for targeted problem areas and quick fixes during spray tan appointments. They fit perfectly into a professional workflow, especially for clients who show up with leftover tan.
🤙Affordable. Effective where it matters. Worth having in the studio.
