This is your midweek checkpoint.
It’s not always about the big wins—sometimes it’s the tiny shift that made a table tip 25% instead of 15%. Or the mistake that taught you something valuable.
Here’s mine for the week:
Win: I introduced myself with high energy, asked for names, and celebrated “the beauty of life” with a couple who said they weren’t celebrating anything. By the end of dinner, they tipped 40% and said I made their whole night.
Workaround: I had a 6-top that came in cold—barely eye contact, barely talking. I mirrored their tone (quiet, reserved), and it kept the vibe flat. Lesson: even cold tables need warm energy. It’s on me to set the tone.
