"If changing the way we fold our arms feels awkward after just ten seconds, imagine how natural it is to feel uncertain after leaving a career you've had for thirty or forty years. Be patient with yourself. Change takes practice... and it takes time."

A question for our community...
If someone had sat down with you six months before you retired, what advice would you have wanted them to give you? Not about money. About life. About purpose. About relationships. About identity. About what comes next. I'd really love to hear your thoughts. Your answers might help someone who is only just beginning their own retirement journey.

A little encouragement for everyone today...
Over the past few weeks I've been reaching out to organisations around the world to talk about something that often doesn't receive enough attention—what happens after we finish our careers. The response has been encouraging. Not because people have all the answers, but because so many recognise the importance of the conversation. If you're retired—or preparing for retirement—remember this: Your experience hasn't expired. Someone can still benefit from your wisdom. Someone still needs your encouragement. Someone can still learn from your journey. Retirement isn't about becoming less. It's about discovering new ways to contribute. I'd love to hear from our community: What's one thing retirement has taught you that you wish you'd known earlier? Let's encourage one another.
