Today I'm bringing an often overlooked point of view in todays world. When every little action we do today rewards us with high dopamine doses (scrolling the phone for example), the expirience of 'real' dopamine feels different and even a neccesity in order to try and achieve something with a certain process - a better looking body, a good grade at an exam, etc.
When executing without seeing results one will achieve the highest and purest form of discipline.
This is doing solely on the base of - I know it needs to be done and that's it.
Not being rewarded
Not achieving something immediate
Just acting.
I will end this post with a very known phrase that seem to fit here the best: "wax on, wax off".
When do "trusting the process" goes too far?
How do we know it?
