🚫 Business Mistakes to Avoid
🟢 Money/ Chasing Revenue Instead of Profit Seeing your sales grow feels exciting, but more revenue doesn’t always mean a healthier business. If your expenses are growing just as fast, or you’re discounting too much to win customers, you could be working harder while making less. Instead, ask yourself: ✔️ Which products or services are actually the most profitable? ✔️ Am I making more money or just doing more work? ✔️ Am I taking on customers that aren’t a good fit just to increase sales? ✔️ If my revenue doubled tomorrow, would my profit double too? A healthy business isn’t measured by revenue alone. It’s measured by what you get to keep after the bills are paid. 🪄 Business Health Prescription: This week, look at your last five sales. Which one created the most value for your business (not just the most revenue)? Ask yourself why, and look for ways to attract more customers like that. 💬 Your Turn: Would you rather have 10 high-profit customers or 100 low-profit customers? Why?

🟢 Money: Pricing Based on Competitors Instead of Value One of the quickest ways to limit your business is to let someone else's prices determine yours. The problem? Your costs, experience, customer service, and value are different from theirs. Competing on price alone often leads to lower profits and attracts customers who are only looking for the cheapest option. Instead, ask yourself: ✔️ What results do I help my customers achieve? ✔️ What makes my business different? ✔️ Am I pricing based on value or fear? ✔️ Would I still be profitable if every customer paid my current price? The right customers aren't always looking for the lowest price. They're looking for the best value and the confidence that they're making a good decision. 🪄 Business Health Prescription: This week, review one product or service you offer. Instead of asking, "What is everyone else charging?" ask, "What value am I providing?" 💬 Your Turn: What's been the hardest part about pricing your products or services?
