In life, you will meet many people who, after meeting them, teach you
what love is not,
what friendship is not,
and what humanity is not.
Sarcasm? Nope.
This is reality.
By watching some people’s habits and behavior, we learn exactly how not to behave.
It’s ridiculous to even stand with them it feels like someone is choking you, suffocating you from inside.
But we were taught to always be nice.
We were told to respect people, to be polite, to have manners, to tolerate them, to listen silently no matter what they say.
But no, my dear ones.
You need to be kind, not nice.
And if you are wise enough, you will know the differencet there is a huge difference, a sky and earth difference, between being kind and being nice.
When a person is kind, the first person they are kind to is themselves to their mental peace.
No one has the right to disrespect you and expect you to stay silent.
When you are kind, you learn to respect yourself first.
You learn to protect your self respect and dignity.
I once watched a street interview.
Someone asked an elderly man he was around 60–70 years old:
“How should I deal with people?”
He replied:
“Accept people as they are, but place them where they belong.
You are the CEO of your life.
Hire, fire, and promote accordingly.”
Meaning you decide who gets access to you and who doesn’t.
Maintain relationships, be humane, but there is absolutely no obligation to tolerate bad behavior.
Allahumma barik 🤍
