Ok, I'll post one. I was working on a project. The dog was barking and I had to stop the project. I didn't like not finishing the project. I didn't feel good to leave it uncompleted. One thing lead to another. I wasn't able to come back and finish the project. When I finally returned, I had a renewed perspective. Fresh ideas and renewed energy. The win? Revisiting the fact that most projects don't have to be completed in one swing. In fact, most projects would benefit from putting it down and coming back later. This small win is helping me to be more comfortable with walking away from an uncompleted project. Knowing that most projects take time and this can be a benefit to completing the project. Start that project you've been putting off. Just start. Then come back later to work on it again. The final product will be better.
