Action. Imperfect action. That's what 99% of people need to move forward in life. It doesn't mean you know exactly what to do. Most of the time, you don’t. This past week, I took more action than I have in a long time. I'm naturally an introvert. Outside of my weekly YouTube Lives and coaching calls inside my Growth Partner Mastermind, I enjoy keeping to myself—spending time with my family, reading, learning, and working quietly behind the scenes But this week was different. I talked to about half a dozen business owners, and another half a dozen members inside my community — people trying to build income using AI and entrepreneurship. And I started noticing something. There are two very distinct types of people out there. Type 1: "AI is the new thing, I want to learn how to rank in ChatGPT, dominate AI Overviews, get ahead of the curve." Type 2: "There's so much noise online. I don't want to chase every new trend. I just want to build a reliable $5,000/month business so I can enjoy a peaceful life. After that, I'll worry about everything else." I spoke to a 57-year-old man who had been laid off after 30 years in his company. Thankfully he had savings. He looked at me and said, "I don't want another job. I just want to learn how to make $5,000 a month. I don't care about every new AI trend—I just want a business that gives me freedom." A few hours later, I spoke with a 21-year-old. His mindset was completely different. "I want to master AI. I want to dominate my city. I want to build something huge." Neither person is right. Neither person is wrong. They're simply at different stages of life. One is looking for security. The other is looking for opportunity. The interesting part? The same business can help both. Later that day, I had a Zoom meeting with the owner of a company that operates across 33 states. Last month alone, my agency generated 60 qualified calls for them, and they paid us an average of $45 per call. During our conversation, he shared something that surprised me.
