10 years ago I created a husband shopping list with 40 things on it. ​ Then I actually met the guy who had everything on my list. ​ Like A proper soulmate. ​ We married 9 months later. It was like Christmas every day. ​ Until I started seeing his other side. ​ The ambitious man became a hyper achiever. ​ The provider became a controller. ​ The charming barrister became... well, still a barrister (in our living room). ​ I wanted my dream husband, not "the guy in the crowds" who judged himself for not building empires fast enough. ​ 99% of the time I saw my soulmate. ​ 1% of the time I saw the other guy. ​ And that 1% was like a drop of poison. ​ There was something i didn't know and i was determined to find out ​ Year 1 ​ ( nothing) ​ Year 2 ( guess work ) ​ Year 3 ( trial and error ) ​ Year 4 ( i think i ​ ​ found the missing piece) ​ I was the problem ​ My controller a 5/10 activated the worst in my partner ​ The most invisible problem i couldn't ever find ​ ​ The one that was constantly beating himself up for not growing fast enough. ​ Same man. ​ Same intentions. ​ But which side showed up depended on which side of ME showed up. ​ I could bring out the soulmate or the man constantly judging himself. ​ But i could also bring out the worst in him. ​ Which is a never ending cycle of misery. ​ I go deeper about this on my newest youtube Channel. ​ The video is entitled "The Other Side of My Soulmate" ​ I will drop it here - .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZYu3wK2ZLU&t=22s ​ Hope you find it useful.
