I’m Patrick Davis—pastor, author (The Gospel That Ruined My Life), artist, and founder of Scars and Bars, a prison, recovery, and reentry ministry. I’ve spent my life walking with the broken and rebuilding stories the world counted out. Out of pain, addiction, prison, and second chances came a movement of misfits who’ve encountered the raw, redemptive power of Christ.
During this work I discovered something profound—WE ALL share the need to reinterpret, redeem, and rewrite our story. Not to hide it, but to capture it in its most authentic form, communicate it, and use it to reach the world for Jesus.
That’s what The School of Redemption is about—a community for the broken who refuse to stay that way. Here, our stories become sacred fire.
