Day 28 - socializing
Day started with our Sunday social walk. No other dogs came just my two but it was still good to get steps and some fresh air and Oreo could look around from my hoodie with a dog pouch 😄
On our way back we met a late walker with a super friendly dog so I let Oreo say hi to her on a leash. He was scared at first but then they got on great. Having had 2 reactive dogs before this is where I put a lots of my effort in.
Beach run with Frank so he could get a break from pup and some 1:1 time.
Dog school in the PM and Oreo did amazing. He was barking at the dogs arriving from his crate but once out was a great little demo boy. Worked on loose leash walking, retrieve and little combos from front to side to middle.
Big run with his mate Otis in the end.
Retrieves challenge starts for us today! I’ll check in later with that 😊
