The difference a finish can make - OIL
It never ceases to amaze me the difference each timber looks when it is stripped back and then treated. This is some vintage Mahogany that has been sanded and simply oiled with Linseed oil.
It also shows that when you finish a piece to always try a small area first to ensure you are getting the outcome you expect.
