This course introduces educators to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)—the foundation of special education law. Through video lessons and reflection, participants explore the six key principles that ensure equitable access and individualized support for students with disabilities. Educators will gain practical insight into evaluations, IEP development, the least restrictive environment, and procedural safeguards to strengthen inclusive classroom practices.
