What does it actually mean to release?
We talk about “letting go”…
but what does that actually mean? 🤍
Because releasing isn’t pretending something didn’t happen.
It’s not ignoring it.
It’s not pushing it down.
It’s not forcing yourself to move on.
Releasing is this:
👉 “This no longer controls me.”
It’s being able to feel something…
without letting it take over.
It’s noticing the thought…
without spiralling in it.
It’s allowing the feeling…
without carrying it into everything.
And that doesn’t happen all at once.
It happens in small moments.
When you pause…
When you notice…
When you choose not to hold onto it the same way.
That’s releasing.
Not perfect.
Not instant.
But intentional.
