Let’s talk about something nobody wants to say out loud… 👀 When did some adult children start thinking their parents owe them? I’m talking grown adults who have their own jobs, their own homes, their own bills—and somehow still feel like Mom is supposed to rescue them, finance them, fix things for them, or put their own life on hold for them. Listen… I raised you. I loved you. I sacrificed for you. I did what I could to give you a good start. But that does NOT mean I owe you the rest of my life. At some point, Mama gets to live, too. And saying “I can’t” doesn’t mean I don’t love you. It means I’m finally learning that loving my children and being responsible for my adult children are two VERY different things. Now tell me the truth… Do you think adult children sometimes feel entitled to their parents’ time, money, or help? 👀
