What Is Showcase?
📢📢📢Showcase exists to celebrate effort and creativity, not to evaluate it. Comments here should be positive and encouraging only. If someone is looking for feedback or help improving something, the THINK TANK tab in the community is the right place for that. Showcase is where you share what you’ve made. This is for anything you are working on, it doesn't have to be something you found or are working on for The Underground. Share a short film, song, art project, book, ect. that you have made and want to show off. We want to see it! This lives only in the community space. This space is for finished work, experiments, progress you’re proud of, or things you want to look back on later. It’s not about being the best or getting attention—it’s about recognizing your effort and growth. You can use Showcase to: - Post something you completed - Share a version you’re proud of - Look back and see how far you’ve come Sharing is always optional. Showcase exists to remind you that what you create matters—and that progress deserves to be seen, even if it’s quiet.

👋 Welcome to The Underground
If you’re new here, start in the Classroom and go to the Start Here section first. That will walk you through how everything works and where to begin. Here’s a quick overview of the main spaces so you know where things belong: - Daily Drops – Your daily starting point. Short, focused prompts to help you think, reflect, and explore career ideas. - The Sandbox – Real-world style gigs written like job board posts. This is where you practice skills, ask questions, and deliver finished work as if to a client. - Missions – Weekly creative challenges that start with a prompt and let everyone respond in their own way. - Ripple Missions – Create-change challenges focused on kindness, impact, and collaboration. - The Light Room – Reflection and mindset space. Quiet, personal, and optional to share. - The Map Room – Career exploration. Use this to dive deeper into paths you see in the Daily Drops and learn what skills you can start building now. - The Teen’s Guide to Living on Planet Earth – Real-life skills school usually skips (money, organization, cooking, resumes, etc.). - Fuel Station – Quick tools, templates, and boosts for when you feel stuck or overwhelmed. - Showcase – For finished work only. This is a celebration space. Positive comments only, no critique. - ThinkTank – For drafts, ideas, and work in progress. This is where constructive feedback is welcome. If you’re ever unsure where to post: - Want encouragement only? → Showcase - Want input or feedback? → ThinkTank - Working on a gig? → Sandbox There’s no pressure to post. Reading still counts. Explore at your own pace — and don’t forget to start in Start Here.

What Is Think Tank?
Think Tank is the space for work in progress and constructive input. Use this when you want help thinking something through, improving an idea, or getting another perspective. This is where drafts, rough ideas, and “I’m not sure yet” work belongs. People responding here should offer thoughtful, respectful feedback. The goal isn’t to tear anything apart or prove a point — it’s to help each other think more clearly and move forward. If you’re posting here, you’re inviting input. If you’re commenting here, be helpful and kind. Think Tank exists so ideas can get better through collaboration — not pressure.

What Are Ripple Missions?
Ripple Missions are create-change challenges. They’re about using your creativity, time, or skills to make a positive impact in the real world. Sometimes that looks like a small action. Other times it turns into something bigger. Both matter. Ripple Missions aren’t structured like projects with instructions or outcomes. They start with an idea or intention, and you decide how to respond. Some people work solo. Others naturally team up and collaborate if it feels right. A Ripple Mission might lead to: - A shared message, campaign, or creative piece - A small act of kindness that spreads - A group effort that helps others in a real way

What Is the Light Room?
The Light Room is a to learn and practice emotional intelligence. It’s where you slow down and check in with yourself. This space is about understanding how you think, feel, and respond to the world—not fixing anything or being a certain way. The Light Room might include: - Short reflections or prompts - Journaling or thinking exercises - Moments to notice patterns, emotions, or growth Nothing here is public unless you choose to share. There are no right answers and nothing to perform. The Light Room exists to help you build self-awareness, emotional clarity, and confidence over time. Use it when you need perspective, grounding, or space to think.
