Preparation, Prayer & Peace ✝️
When my fiancé had some seizures right before I gave birth to our son, Malachi, I was exhausted, worried and helpless. I called out to Jesus and he met me there in the middle of the storm. He was calm, gentle, yet direct and taught me what I refer to as the "3 P's": -Preparation -Prayer -Peace First and foremost, I am to stay prepared; make sure he doesn't hurt himself, remember what I've researched. Second, stay in prayer, "talk to Me, tell Me, ask Me." And finally, ask for peace; we already have it, but "if you don't feel peace, ask Me and I will give it to you." These 3 P's are like salt, onion powder, and garlic powder. Should be applied to any situation; any recipe. I realized this when I was in labor with Malachi, practically rushed to a C-section. The birth had to happen. The seizure had to run its course. When God doesn't remove us from the situation, He's always in it with us. By being prepared, staying in prayer and asking for peace, we are more than conquerors ❤️‍🩹

I miss you guys
How are things? How are projects/prayers/etc? Yall, you'll have to excuse me. I've been wedding planning for September, raising my 10-month old (who is now basically an expert at standing. Pray for me when he learns to walk). And just all the summer festivities. Church has been great on Sundays. My fiance and I look forward to worship each week. I've been chipping away at a new diet so I can reach my postpartum goal. Basically just drinking more water, fasting, smaller portion sizes, and more protein! I work part-time from home on top of mommy duties working for a local magazine and I've been asked to take on more responsibilities. Anyway, this morning I got my coffee and some yarn. So many ideas of what to make but I'm in the mood to start a granny square project. Maybe something for fall so it's ready by the time it comes.
I miss you guys
Living/Breathing/Walking Testimony
What prayers lately has God answered for you? Sometimes when we're in the valley, it feels like He has forgotten us. But worry not, the Lord is our shepherd 🐑

Know what you have, know where it is
One of my goals this year is to: 👉 know what I own and 👉 know where it is. Today, I'm slowly chipping away at the craft room and organizing the yarn I want to keep/sell 🧶💸 Also, did you guys know, Vinted is a really good place to ofc sell your clothes online but also some crochet stuff? 👚👕 I've been putting things on there to sell that I don't want or need and it gets lots of views and already sold quite a bit. A good side hustle to trade in your stuff for another's treasure ☺️

Cute Summer Handbag 👜🧶
Check out this fun crochet design! I like the colors. I think I want to try this with different fruit granny squares though. Speaking of that, there's a lemon granny square tutorial on my YT channel The North Stitch, if you're interested 🍋
