Identity reframing 101....
Christ has proclaimed over 100 identities over us...life giving identities....identities that encourage us to bring much fruit for God's Kingdom...identities that crush the wrong identities planted by the enemy!
Today's identity we are focusing on is - You are SET APART by Jesus Christ....SET APART and made Holy by Jesus Christ...
Can you take the time today to fully focus on one of your 100+ identities in Christ and verbally proclaim it over yourself?
The enemy can make our challenges and troubles seem bigger than our Saviour, Jesus Christ. One of the 100 identities that Christ proclaims over us is that we are SET APART …We are made Holy (Set Apart) by Jesus Christ…to carry out His will for our lives here on earth.
What does it mean to be SET APART…we are called by name to be Holy Priests…sons and daughters of Jesus who are set apart from the ways of this world…set apart to shine His light in the dark places….set apart to share the fruits of the Holy Spirit with others through our words and actions.
Take a few minutes to let this identity soak into you…You are SET APART to be Holy…to be Royal Priests…who carry out Jesus’s will here on earth! This is an incredibly powerful identity that should motivate us…stir us…to cast away our fears and anxiety and take on the role of Holy Priests who bring God’s love and God’s light into this world!
Our mindset in Christ is our sword and shield when we need to conquer the fears and doubts in our lives by reinforcing our identities in Christ. We are SET APART and are loved by Christ to bear much fruit for His kingdom!
Take time today to meditate on this “SET APART” identity – you can do this through prayer, fasting, worshipping and obeying God in our daily lives.
