Poetry is the art of saying something in a new way. And that has some requirements. It needs Appropriate Landing Context (ALC: a great line delivered at the wrong time or to the wrong person won't deliver on its promise) and it requires Appropriate Sender Context (ASC: a great line delivered by the wrong person will also fail). You need both. And it must speak to some part of a woman's soul. That's the art. That's the challenge of good poetry. It must speak to someone's desires and experiences. And it's damn worth your time.
