I forgot the thimble
One other thing that will come in handy is a thimble. It is not essential, and you will notice that I haven’t used one in the videos because not everyone has one.
But it will protect your finger as well as help push the needle through without digging into your hand. It speeds things up.
You can often buy lovely ones in antique shops if you want something a little unique.
