🔎 NEW EVIDENCE: Clues #3, #4 and a surprise #5
Ravenwood Hall. The investigation deepens. Detectives, last week we found ink-stained fingerprints on the pocket watch. This week, the evidence leads outside… 🌧 📷 CLUE #3: The Photograph A guest brought a camera to the party that night. When the photographs were developed, one picture showed something strange. Through the rain, under the glowing lamppost, a carriage is waiting. No one remembers ordering a carriage that night. Who was planning to leave Ravenwood Hall… before midnight? 🕰 ✉️ CLUE #4: The Sealed Letter On a desk in the servants’ wing, we found a letter sealed with red wax, next to a pen and a bottle of ink. Inside, the handwriting is neat and careful: “Have the carriage at the gate before midnight. Tell no one.” The handwriting matches Agatha Crane, the housekeeper. 🤔 But why would the housekeeper need a carriage in the middle of the night? 🐦‍⬛ SURPRISE CLUE #5: The Raven’s Note And this morning… a raven landed on the garden wall. In its beak was a torn piece of paper, stained with ink. Only a few words can still be read: “…before the bells toll twelve, keep it from his hands.” Keep what from whose hands? 🖋 🕵️ Your turn, detectives 👇 In the comments, tell us: - Who was the carriage waiting for? - Is Agatha the thief… or is something else going on? - Who is “his” in the raven’s note? No wrong answers. Every theory helps the investigation! (Bonus: Add these clues to your Secrets of the Manor page. Hide the raven’s note under your flap! 🤫) 📅 Sunday: Evidence Room. Share your Secrets of the Manor page and win Detective of the Week! 🏅

🔎 Mystery of Blackwood Journal - CASE FILE #01: The Investigation
Ravenwood Hall. The morning after. The guests are whispering in the hallways. The pocket watch is still frozen at 11:55. And someone in this house is hiding something… It’s time to open the case file, detectives. 🕯 📦 This week’s evidence (your sticker drop) Download the Week 2 detective sheet in the Classroom: 🔍 Magnifying glass ✉️ Wax-sealed letter 🕰 Pocket watch 📷 Camera ✂️ This week’s skill: Pages that open A real case file is full of secrets: letters, tags and evidence photos. This week, your page gets one thing that opens. 🎥 Tutorial video Watch the 1-minute video, then follow the steps below. ✉️ Step 1: Fold an envelope 1. Cut a square of paper, about 15 cm (6 in). Old maps, book pages or tea-stained paper work best! 2. Turn it like a diamond ◆ 3. Fold the left and right corners to the middle. They can overlap a little. 4. Fold the bottom corner up, and glue the sides where they touch. 5. Fold the top corner down. That’s your flap. 6. Seal it with the wax letter sticker. 🏷 Step 2: Make an evidence tag 1. Cut a small tag from thin cardboard: a rectangle with the two top corners cut off. 2. Punch a hole at the top and tie on some twine. 3. Add the pocket watch sticker, and write “Evidence #1: 11:55”. 4. Tuck it inside your envelope. 📷 Step 3: Add evidence photo corners 1. Cut 4 tiny squares of paper. 2. Fold the two top corners of each square down to meet at the bottom. Now it’s a little pocket! 3. Slide them onto the corners of your camera sticker. 4. Glue only the back of the corners to your page, so the photo can slide out. 🔍 Step 4: Build your case-file page - Make your envelope the focal point. - Add your evidence photo and the magnifying glass. - Cluster 2–3 small stickers around them. - Write “CASE FILE #01” at the top. 📝 Your assignment: The Case File Make a detective spread with at least one thing that opens. ✒️ Journaling prompt What’s a small mystery from your own life?A lost item, a strange coincidence, a question you never answered… Write it down and hide it in your envelope. 🤫
