Bella and the cats
Bella has been here a week. She is fitting in great with my dogs. The problem is the cats. She is so hyper-fixated on them that they are all she thinks about finding from the second she steps out of her crate until I put her back in. It has gotten to the point where I have her training collar set at 30 and that only deters her for a few seconds. Even with that she only backs off about ten feet and practically vibrates to move to go at them. My cats don't really back down so I'm afraid either Bella is going to get scratched in the eye or get an even bloodier nose. Worse yet she might actually bite the cat. She is leashed 70% of the time but when I'm trying to do stuff around the house or have her outside in the yard with the other dogs she is off lead. Short of 100% leashed or in the kennel, anything else I can try?
