Jeremiah 31:25 shines like a beam of light in the midst of dark prophecy.
Israel had nothing but this promise to cling to during seventy years of exile. Yet God proved faithfulโHe restored, renewed, and fulfilled His word.
Today, we stand on the same assurance. Even when life feels overwhelming or barren, Godโs promise to refresh and satisfy remains.
He does not abandon His people; He sustains them with grace, hope, and strength for the journey.

๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ท๐๐ฑ๐ด๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ โ Jeremiahโs prophecies were heavy with warnings of destruction because of Israelโs rebellion.
๐๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐บ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐น๐ฒ โ even amid scorching words, God slips in promises of restoration and grace.
๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ต โ โI will refresh the weary and satisfy the faintโ is reassurance that Godโs care never disappears.
๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ณ๐๐น ๐ณ๐๐น๐ณ๐ถ๐น๐น๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ โ Israel clung to this promise for seventy years, and God proved true.
๐ข๐๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ โ the same God who kept His word then will refresh and sustain us now.
Godโs promises are like streams in the desertโlifeโgiving even when everything else feels barren.
Like a tree planted by the stream we will prosper.
