- why companies are shedding employees even though AI isn't ready to take over those roles

- it's not about roles, but skills (which Gen Xers have in abundance) that will be the most valuable during this change
- companies are prepping for having agile orgs that can react to business models changing due to AI
- training AI to do your job now may be irrelevant if the outcome of biz shifts due to AI changes the way processes work
