The Narrative Index is a living book metadata database designed to describe books as they truly are—structure, scope, series relationships, themes, and reader expectations.

Nothing is scraped. Nothing is taken.
This database grows organically, through intentional, consent-based contributions from authors and readers using shared definitions we build together.
This isn’t a review site or a hype machine. It’s a foundation—clear language, clean structure, and a better way to connect stories to the people looking for them.
