Hi there, I'm Zach!

Hello fellow music teachers! I'm excited to meet and work with you in The Music Teachers Collective.

Honestly, I've never been a fan of these types of posts even though I'm asking you to do them same, lol!

I am the owner and lead instructor of Seckman Music School in Wichita, Kansas where we teach private lessons and classes for Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, and my self-written program, Little Jammers. My music school has been going full-time since 2019.

In addition to the music school, I also create resources for music teachers that are available in the paid part of this community, and I will once in a while post freebies for all members.

And as previously mentioned, I am the creator of the Little Jammers preschool music program that introduces younger kiddos to Piano, Guitar, and Drums.

A couple more things about me:

👉 I graduated from Kansas State University in 2017 with a Bachelors in Music Education, as a first-gen collage graduate

👉 I'm a Nintendo nerd and LOVE playing on my Super Nintendo, and Switch.

👉 I also enjoy simulation games such as The Sims, and Cities:Skylines

👉 I enjoy cooking, and love to try out new recipes and experimenting in the kitchen.

👉 My 2026 bucket list includes camping for the very first time.
