Why Most Training Programs Fail (and How to Fix It)
A lot of people hit the gym consistently but don’t see results. In my experience as a kinesiology graduate, lifter, and coach, the #1 reason is lack of structure. Most programs fail because they don’t: - 🔹 Respect progressive overload (adding the right stress over time). - 🔹 Balance performance and recovery (people push hard but don’t manage sleep/nutrition). - 🔹 Account for injury history and asymmetries (like hip misalignment, shoulder tightness, or hamstring weakness). 👉 The fix: Your program needs to meet you where you’re at and adapt with you. That’s why I build systems that: - Track strength, recovery, and habits together. - Focus on long-term mastery instead of quick wins. - Keep you consistent without burnout. 💬 Question for you: What’s been the hardest part of staying consistent with your training, programming, recovery, or motivation?

Welcome to The Movement Mastery Lab
Hey everyone, I’m Ernie, and I’m pumped to welcome you to The Movement Mastery Lab. This isn’t just another training group this is a place to study, test, and master how the body moves. My mission is simple: ➡ Help you unlock strength, mobility, and resilience. ➡ Blend science + practice to fix imbalances, prevent injuries, and perform at your best. ➡ Build a community of lifters, athletes, and everyday movers who want more than just “workouts.” What you’ll find here: 🧩 Deep dives on movement mechanics⚡ Practical drills & protocols you can use immediately🏋️‍♂️ Strength training & rehab strategies that actually work💬 Open discussions where we learn from each other This is a lab, which means we experiment, we share, and we grow together. To start: Drop a comment with what movement feels the most limited or frustrating for you right now (squat depth, shoulder mobility, low back tightness, etc.). I’ll use your responses to shape the first breakdown posts in this community. Excited to build this with you all 🔥 – Ernan
