Welcome to the Sanctuary
Welcome. If you’re here, you’re rebuilding something. Your health. Your strength. Your future. This is not a quick-fix space. And it’s not a place to hide from hard work. It’s a place to do it together. Step 1: Introduce Yourself Post in The Sanctuary Lounge and share what you’re rebuilding. Be honest. Start where you are. Step 2: Choose Your Focus Right now, what needs attention? • Sustainable weight loss • GLP-1 support • Strength & mobility • Reducing inflammation • Emotional regulation • Preparing for motherhood Pick one. Start there. Don’t overwhelm yourself. Step 3: Commit to Weekly Check-Ins Inside Wellness & Accountability, post consistently. Progress here isn’t perfection. It’s showing up. We celebrate effort. We correct extremes. We move forward. Step 4: Build the Foundation Use: • Resource Library for education • Emotional Health for nervous system work • Creative Practice for reflection Healing is layered. You don’t skip layers. Step 5: Share Wins Big or small. If you: • Walked longer • Drank your water • Took your medication • Said no to self-sabotage • Scheduled your appointment That counts. We honor momentum. Heal • Grow • Transform You don’t have to do this alone. But you do have to do it. — Angel

Meet Your Founder
Hi, I’m Angel. If you’re here, you’re probably rebuilding something. So am I. I created Moonlight Sanctuary because I needed a space that wasn’t extreme, chaotic, or performative — but still serious about change. Right now, I’m rebuilding my health intentionally. I’ve struggled with chronic inflammation, joint pain, and feeling disconnected from my body. I reached a point where I knew I couldn’t ignore it anymore. Not just for how I look — but for how I live. My goal isn’t a fast transformation. It’s long-term stability. I want: • To move without pain • To regulate my stress • To rebuild strength • To prepare my body for future motherhood • To create a life that feels sustainable I believe in: Consistency over perfection. Evidence over hype. Compassion without excuses. You won’t find crash cycles here. You won’t find shame. You won’t find magic fixes. You will find: Honest check-ins. Hard conversations. Small wins. Real accountability. I’m not ahead of you. I’m walking with you. If you’re ready to rebuild — introduce yourself below. What are you working on right now? Heal • Grow • Transform — Angel

The tough convo with Drs and the feelings afterwards
I had one of those tough doctor conversations recently. The kind where you sit there listening, nodding, and trying to process everything at the same time. For me, it was hearing that I’ll likely need surgery on my hip at 36 but before that can happen, I need to lose about 100 pounds. Walking out of that appointment felt like a roller coaster. Part of me felt overwhelmed. Part of me felt frustrated. And part of me just felt… tired. Health journeys aren’t always clean or inspiring in the moment. Sometimes they’re messy and emotional and full of questions. But I’m trying to approach this the same way we approach growth here: one small step at a time, one honest check-in at a time. So today’s reflection for anyone who wants to share: Have you ever had a moment where a doctor or health conversation hit you emotionally? How did you process it afterward?

The Vulnerability of Asking for Help
Something I didn’t expect in a health journey is how vulnerable it feels to say out loud: “I need help.” There’s a strange moment after you admit it — when the walls you’ve been holding up come down a little. People can suddenly see where you’re struggling, where you’re tired, or where things haven’t been working. And that can feel uncomfortable. But I’m starting to realize that asking for help is actually a form of courage. It’s choosing growth instead of pretending everything is fine. Right now I’m in that space myself — figuring out what my health journey looks like and learning to be honest about where I am instead of where I think I should be. So today’s reflection: Have you ever had a moment where asking for help felt scary… but also necessary? If you’re comfortable sharing, what helped you take that step?

Checking In With Your Emotional Weather
Sometimes emotional health isn’t about fixing anything — it’s just about noticing where we are. Today I’m thinking about emotions like weather patterns. Some days feel sunny and clear. Some feel cloudy or heavy. Some feel like a quiet fog where things are harder to read. None of them are wrong — they’re just signals. So today’s check-in: ☀️ Sunny — feeling energized and clear 🌤 Partly cloudy — a mix of feelings ☁️ Cloudy — low energy or reflective 🌧 Rainy — processing heavier emotions 🌫 Foggy — unsure how you feel yet What’s your emotional weather today? No fixing required — just noticing. 🌙 I'm a little rainy today
