You've came to the right place for getting started with mobility training. My name is Daniel Adler-Brathwaite. I have always been a truth seeker in the movement arts. My love for playing sports, particularly football, led me down this path. I started strength training in high school because I wanted to play in college and I knew I needed to get stronger, more explosive, faster.
My curiosity continued to grow every year with the same question...how can I get better?
I did many forms and variations of strength exercises from performance coaches, ; copying professional athletes the best I could, signing up for a local pilates program in my area, participating in yoga with my mom who was a teacher, doing all sorts of hot/cold water treatments, various track and field training concepts, rock climbing, animal crawling, club swinging, rope climbing variations, and all kinds of wacky ways to challenge my body to improve.
I obtained certifications in Olympic Weightlifting, CSCS, Functional Range Conditioning, Kinstretch, Internal Strength Model, and PRI (Respiration).
My goals for performance changed when I retired from football at age 25, opened a gym, and began taking training others more seriously. I had to have a much more robust understanding of biomechanics, and human performance because my clients weren't me and had different problems and goals.
Today, I consider myself a much wiser, but still the same curious boy that wanted to be great.
Its my joy to connect and meet with folks all around the world who want to train better. I want to coach people out of pain and into performance!
