Meditation is an incredible journey and a possible part of what made us human. Some proposals suggest that as much as 150,000-200,000 years ago, "fire gazing' meditation helped our ancestors develop working memory. The path of meditation can take many different forms, dependent on personal preference, technique, and goals. It can be a very solitary journey or one deeply rooted in community. As a twice-daily meditator, I love and benefit from both, but I must say there is something special about being in a group, knowing others, and tapping into the special place that meditation brings us to. This is why I have created The Meditation Station. As we begin, there won't be teachers or courses, as we'll begin this community with experienced meditators of all kinds who want a consistent place to convene. As you join The Meditation Station, leave a comment here with your name, where you're from, and a small bit about your meditation practice. Thanks for joining The Meditation Station.
