Christmas preparations
How are all the wonderful mamma's doing? Ive been slowly building up for. Christmas and today I started thinking about meals and activities. The children have 2 weeks of holidays here from 22 - 7th Jan. I have to admit it is always a challenge to plan in and budget for the extra meals thst are normally taken care of when they are in school. I find it hard to make bulk food that is affordable and tasty for kids too. What to speak of activities to keep them busy and satisfied. ๐Ÿ˜… We are still hoping for a white Christmas which takes care of outdoor activities but it might not happen. As mums working from.home it means juggling them and your business. And trying to relax. What do you guys do to balance everything? Have you already started planning the days? What to do about fussy eaters ๐Ÿซฃ Wishing you all a good lead up to Christmas ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿฉท๐ŸŒฒ

How are we doing ?
Hey ๐Ÿ‘‹ How are you? Iโ€™ve had an intensely busy couple of days at work โ€˜the day jobโ€™ - with a live event to manage yesterday & catching up on the inbox today. So Skool has been slightly neglected - but Iโ€™m hoping to catch up again in the next couple of days & maybe bring my notifications down under 99+ ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚ How are you finding the 12 day challenge? Too much? not enough? ๐Ÿฉท If you celebrate, do you have your Christmas tree up yet? We did that on Sunday ๐Ÿคฉwe also put some lights up in our ceiling which the girls LOVE (and so do I!)
How are we doing ?
Can anyone else relate?
My partner makes way more money than I do and we share our family expenses and so there is a codependency going on which frustrates the heck out of me... He does pay for certain things if I cannot chip in though. But it does trigger me on some level (gender/equality) and I feel inferior and helpless when that happens. It's nothing new and I do the mindset work but I think what I have been missing is talking about it with other mums who also have their own businesses in a community like this. Like we speak the same language without needing so many words. I never had a mum support group in all my 13 years besides the odd friends ๐Ÿฅน And on top of that my partner is not very good at managing what he spends on / the bigger picture and that often impacts the family wellbeing. To be honest I want to be so secure financially that I am completely independent from his income and feel so confident to step in of necessary, without feeling afraid where is my hard earned money going. I want to pay for things for me / the family with total joy and freedom. Sorry for the rant ๐Ÿ˜ I clearly needed to share that with someone ๐Ÿคฃ is it just me or can anyone else relate to this? ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฉท
