The weather has finally turned beautiful here in Wisconsin, and I have found myself feeling deeply grateful for the simple things.
I've been spending more time outside again... sitting in the backyard listening to the birds sing, taking long walks with friends, fishing with my husband, and simply soaking up the sunshine.
Every year I'm reminded how much I need nature.
For me, nature is medicine.
I've watched my mood shift after a walk by the lake. I've felt my energy change after sitting quietly beneath the trees. Sometimes a few moments of sunshine on my face can completely change the direction of my day.
When we pause to notice what we're grateful for, something begins to shift. Our attention moves toward what is nourishing, supportive, and beautiful in this moment.
